Together, We Support Women & Children in Our Community

The Women’s Collective proudly supports 501(c)(3) organizations uplifting women and children throughout Dane County. Each quarter, members come together to thoughtfully review grantee applications and cast their votes. The selected organization receives our full collective donation during a quarterly grant presentation—an impactful investment in the vital work being done in our community.

Empowering Women. Uplifting Children. Strengthening Dane County.

We are driven by a single goal: to do our part in making the world a better place for the families of Dane County. We provide grants to local organizations that help women and children overcome adversity and reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.

How an Organization is Selected

Our board members gather each quarter to thoughtfully review every grant application received by the deadline (see dates below). From this first round, three standout organizations are selected and

invited to submit a brief, two-minute video so our entire membership can get to know their work.

After viewing the videos and reading through the materials, members cast their votes—and the top-ranked organization becomes our quarterly grantee. The winner is then invited to our next event to receive their grant check and share their story with the group.

Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors and the dedicated volunteer time of our board, the Women's Collective of Dane County is able to contribute 100% of funds raised directly to the winning organization!
